Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
